As part of its social responsibility and commitment to community health, the Inclusive Development Society (SDI), in partnership with the Jorge Machalela Foundation (FJM), has launched an important campaign to distribute mosquito nets, having already delivered more than 200 units to shelters for children and the elderly in the City of Maputo.

The initiative, integrated into malaria prevention and well-being promotion actions, was supported by local government authorities and social institutions that assisted in identifying priority centers and in community mobilization.

Among the centers benefiting from this first phase are:

• Arco-Íris Center

• Magoanine “C” Home for the Elderly

• Dom Orione Institution

• 10 de Outubro Community School

• ADPP – Center for the Reintegration of Vulnerable Children

• Casa Esperança in Katembe

• Lhayisseka Center

These institutions are dedicated to caring for orphans and vulnerable children, unassisted elderly people, and families affected by natural disasters, serving as essential spaces for the promotion of inclusion, education, health, and social reintegration.
